-Internet-
Internet is a global system of interconnected computer network of networks that interchange data by packet switching using the standardized Internet Protocol Suite. It consists of millions of private and public, academic, business, and government networks of local to global scope that are linked by copper wires, fiber – optic cables, wireless connections and other technologies. The internet carries various information resources and services, such as electronic mail, online chat, file transfer and shared, online gaming and the inter-linked hypertext documents and other resources of the World Wide Web (WWW). Internet is a global data communication system. It is a hardware and software infrastructure that provides connectivity between computers. The most prominent component of the internet model is the Internet Protocol (IP) which provides addressing systems for computers on the internet and facilitates the internetworking of networks.
-Intranet-
This is a private computer network that uses IP and network connectivity to securely share part of an organization’s (internal website) information or operations with its employees. The same concepts as internet having clients and servers running the IPS are used to build an intranet. HTTP, FTP and other internet protocols are commonly used. An IntranetSite differs from a website in the fact that websites are oriented to public web browsers that do not need be authenticated in order to view the content. The IntranetSite content is private and does require authentication for each web viewer. Some websites require a subscription to access some or all of their content and because of the authentication requirement it makes them an IntranetSites or ExtranetSites. Intranets are being used to deliver tools and applications, e.g., collaboration (to facilitate working in groups and teleconferencing) or sophisticated corporate directories, sales and CRM tools, project management etc., to advance productivity. Intranets are also being used as culture change platforms. For example, large numbers of employees discussing key issues in an online forum could lead to new ideas. Intranet traffic, like public-facing web site traffic, is better understood by using web metrics software to track overall activity, as well as through surveys of users. Intranet "User Experience", "Editorial", and "Technology" teams work together to produce in-house sites. Most commonly, intranets are owned by the communications, HR or CIO areas of large organizations, or some combination of the three. Because of the scope and variety of content and the number of system interfaces, the intranets of many organizations are much more complex than their respective public websites. And intranets are growing rapidly.
-Extranet-
A private network that uses Internet technology and the public telecommunication system to securely share part of a business’s information or operations with supplies, vendors, partners, customers, or other businesses. Extranet requires security and privacy.

What is Computers?
Assalamualaikum. Like I promised to you last post. Now, I will share my knowledge in computers. :)
Introduction to Computers:
- A computer is a machine for manipulating data according to a list of instruction or programs.
- It has become an important tool in modern society and it affects our lives in many ways/
- There are big and small computers
- Small computers are called microcomputers or a micro
- It is also known as a personal computer or PC because it is intended for personal use
- They are more affordable
- They can be used for serious work (Word processing or graphic design), as well as for entertainment.
- They are user-friendly (Easy to use)
- Traditionally we used fingers to calculate
- People used to solve mathematical problems using an abacus, paper and pen or multiplication tables
- Now computers are used to calculate simple operations as it is easier to use and faster
- In other words, computers are used for processing data
- Data means facts and figures (e.g. a person's name and age)
- There are 4 operations involved in data processing;
- It involves the process of obtaining the data or putting the data into the computer
- we usually do this by using a device called keyboard (looks like a typewriter)
- It involves manipulation of the data (e.g. adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.)
- It is one by a processor
- The processor does its job by executing a program
- A program is a set of instruction for completing a job
- It involves sending the results of the processing.
- The results are also known as information (the summarized data)
- The results are sent to outputs units such as printers and monitors
- It involves keeping the data inside an electronic store or electronic storage capacity.
- The processor keeps the input, instruction and data and will be retrieved from it when needed.
- When we calculate difficult mathematical problems, we need paper and pencil to answer
- We can relate the above process to the following;
Processing: Brain (calculating)
Storing: Brain/Paper
Output: Mouth/hand/paper (Speak out / write)
- Computer can be defined as a processing machine
- They are also called as data processing or information processing.

No Updates for time being...
Assalamualaikum peeps.. Sorry for no updates for a long time. I'm sitting for SPE Examination this year starts from 19th Oct until 31st Oct. So, No Post on here. No Updates. But, Maybe I'll post about Computer and Technology after the exam.
Regarding to Computers and Technology. There are 2 phrases. 1 is about basic computers and 2 is about Technology Abuses. I hope, Pray for me. And wish me a very good luck and have all the marks more than 75%.

Definition Virus...
Before going any further in the virus discussion, we need to get a few things clear. What exactly is a computer virus differentiate itself from another damaging programs and from other "normal" programs? There has been some confusion on what viruses actually are and what they are not. Often the designation "computer virus" is used simply to denote any destructive program. This, strictly speaking, is not correct. In this chapter I will try to reach a clear definition of "computer virus" and other computer mischief programs. There are basically three different kinds of these programs: viruses, Trojan Horse and Worms.

Introducing New Operating System part 1
Assalamualaikum. I would like to introduce to all my friends and who don't know new OS (Operating System). The new operating system is Windows 7. Not Windows Vista, XP and Macintosh. Just like Paul Thurrot who works for Windows said:
As for performance, I think Microsoft is going to surprise people. And if you're working for an enterprise that hasn't upgraded to Vista because it won't run acceptably on your existing PCs, you'll want to look again at Windows
If you want to watch the video about Windows 7, Click play below.
Part 2, I will post is as soon as possible.
